Inventory your AI before you have to justify your decisions.

The EU AI Act requires organizations to classify and document their AI systems. Asplenz AI Registry lets you do it - for free.

You can't govern what you haven't inventoried.

Most organizations don't know how many AI systems they actually use. Teams adopt tools independently. Vendors embed models into existing products. Shadow AI proliferates.

The EU AI Act makes no concessions. Article 6 and Annex III require you to classify every AI system by risk level. Article 9 mandates documented risk management. Article 14 requires declared human oversight.

First, you need an inventory.

A structured inventory, designed for AI Act compliance.

The AI Registry is a free module integrated into Asplenz Evidence. It lets you list every AI system your organization provides or deploys, and capture the information required by regulators.

For each AI system, you declare:

Name & description

The function of the system.

AI Act classification

High risk, limited risk, minimal risk, GPAI.

Domain

Recruitment, credit scoring, health, security, education, critical infrastructure, etc.

Provider & Deployer

Who designed it, who operates it.

Status

In development, in production, retired.

Human oversight

Who supervises and by what mechanism.

Risk assessment

Identified risks and mitigation measures.

Technical documentation

Link to system documentation.

Owner

The system owner.

Production date

Each field corresponds to a specific AI Act requirement. Nothing more, nothing less.

Identify your gaps before the auditor does.

The registry includes a compliance dashboard giving you an overview of your situation.

What it surfaces:

  • Number of registered systems, broken down by risk classification.
  • Which systems have no risk assessment.
  • Which systems lack declared human oversight.
  • Which systems have no link to technical documentation.
  • Which high-risk systems have no audit trail.

Some gaps are resolved by completing the registry. Others require more: proof that decisions were actually made.

The registry lists what you have. Evidence proves what you decided.

By using the AI Registry, you navigate the full Evidence interface. You will see where decisions, seals, and proof chains are located - but these features are reserved for Evidence subscribers.

This is a deliberate choice. The registry exposes the problem: high-risk systems with no documented commissioning decisions, risk acceptances without cryptographic proof, oversight declarations without verifiable evidence.

Evidence provides the solution. Every decision is sealed. Every proof is independently verifiable. Every audit trail is immutable.
